My Background

From a young age, I was immersed in holistic wellness. My upbringing involved attachment parenting and a focus on lifestyle and diet. My mom incorporated massage, reflexology, and reiki into our daily lives, making it feel like everyone’s mom did energy work for everything from headaches to emotional ups and downs!

After graduating from the University of Iowa’s nursing program (alongside co-founder Kara), I started my career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This experience, shared with co-founder Sarah, psych provider Danielle, and nurse Kala, instilled in me a profound respect for human life and the complexities of the healthcare system. Although I cherished this environment, I knew it was time to expand my horizons. I pursued my Family Nurse Practitioner degree and board certification and have focused on women’s health for the past decade.

I show up every day with the intention to assist in the healing process, not only for the patients I serve but also for myself and my family. My journey to this point has been eventful, and I have had to heal traumas, optimize lifestyle choices, move my body, learn stress management tools, and dig deep into the pits of shadow work to get here and now. If this resonates, I would be happy to co-create your very own personalized healing journey!

Dianna is the first Dr. I’ve ever had that takes time to explain to me what she wants to do to treat me as a whole person. I’ve been weight shamed and told I’m too young to have what I think I have, denied bloodwork, and other diagnostics my entire life. I’m finally getting the care I need. She’s validated my Dr. trauma and more. I cannot say enough good things about her. Please see her if you are reading this!
